Technology-based Neurocognitive Assessment of the Elderly: a Mini Review

Neurocognitive disorders in the elderly are on rise all over world. Neuropsychological assessment is vital to monitoring progress of cognitive deficits. Over years, there has been significant development neuropsychological predict and progression MCI dementia. One such area recent advancement field neuropsychology technology-based assessment. There several types assessments available based type usage, site assessment, administration, device used for etc. Virtual reality-based digital neurocognitions early identification subtle deficits patients with mild impairment (MCI) major neurocognitive (MND) represent two newly developed technologies. A few studies have demonstrated their efficacy; however, remain limitations drawbacks usage within population. In this review, we briefly discussed along limitations.
